 Our restaurant specializes in Pittsburgh Bar-B-Que and Pittsburgh vegetarian diner food – what a mix!We serve quality meats such as beef brisket, wood-grilled steaks, chicken, and burgers all with our famous Pittsburgh Bar-B-Que sauces. Our pork dishes include our First Place St Louis ribs and our succulent pulled pork, both served with our own Carolina-style sauce. We’ve been told it’s the best in any Pittsburgh restaurant, but you’ll have to come and decide for yourself!  In addition to great food, the Double Wide Grill is a full sports bar. Four ten-foot wide, high-resolution projection screens and numerous flat screens show all the top games. Any seat is the best seat in the house. We’re more than a Pittsburgh sports bar, we’re a sports restaurant  “Brunch,” you say? Yep, we’ve got it. Saturday and Sunday brunch is served starting at 10am. We serve various egg dishes, pancakes, and meats. A house favorite is the Double Wide Benedict: two poached eggs, bacon and spinach on top of homemade corn bread smothered in green chili hollandaise sauce. Yum yum yum. |
 For those of you who are more interested in Pittsburgh vegetarian and Pittsburgh vegan food, we have an extensive menu filled with these specialties. Some of them include homemade wood-grilled lentil veggie burgers, wood-grilled tofu skewers topped with our own Vegan Pittsburgh Bar-B-Que sauce, coconut rum tofu, vegan seitan wings, and pulled seitan pork. We make our own seitan from scratch – nothing frozen here! The Double Wide Grill is the only South Side restaurant that serves extensive beef and pork Bar-B-Que alongside vegetarian and vegan options.  For the average diner food fan, we serve wood-grilled burgers, chicken, homemade soups, salads, Reubens, and both beef and vegetarian chili.  You will also want to come inside to check out our stage. Saturday nights at 10:30 we’re packed with singers ready for karaoke. You certainly can’t miss our patio outside. We’ve been voted the “Best Outdoor Seating” on numerous occasions. |
